Born in the industrial ashes of western Canada, UV have made their name by delivering a new kind of dark sound to hallowed clubs in North America.

This is still a band that puts psychotic amounts of attention into the songs, and the effect it has on the music is deep, and lasting. The band started receiving attention recently from their recent tours and radio play, which gave listeners a glimpse of what is to come in the future they believe.

The complexity and subject matter of the music is one of a kind. The tenderness darkness, and intelligence offer the starving parts of our brains relief. But, the most interesting part is when that meets their live show. They appear more ghostly on the stage, says a lot of people I have talked too. And after the ghostliness, the sheer rhythmic force then kicks in, with a surprising amount of melody. This provides singer Nate J with a palate that seems to come straight from his heart.
